Personal press cards must be presented in order to take part in the arrangements. Press Centre, located in the Grand Hotel Rica, Karl Johans gt. 31 | | | PRESS CONFERENCE 9 DECEMBER AT 13:30 HRS Mr Thorbjørn Jagland, chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee will meet the press at the Nobel Institute, Address: Henrik Ibsens gate 51, Oslo | | | THE CEREMONY IN THE CITY HALL Representatives from the Police will check press cards and lists of all media for entry into the City Hall from 10.00 hours. The check is outside the Nobel Peace Center. After the ceremony in the City Hall, CNN will broadcast alive an interview with Mr Thorbjørn Jagland, chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee at 17:00 hrs. This will also take place in the City Hall. POLICE WILL CLOSE ALL ENTRANCES TO THE CITY HALL AT 11:30 HRS PHOTOGRAPHERS: A photo pool together with a photographer from the Norwegian Nobel Institute will cover the ceremony from the ground floor of the Main Hall. All other still photographers (together with journalists) will be taken to the Eastern Gallery of the Hall through the entrance of the Western Tower. Please note that only one still photographer and/or one reporter from each media will be admitted to the gallery. Photographers, who wish to cover the arrival of the Laureate and the guests to the City Hall, will be shown to an area outside the main entrance. Please note that these photographers will not be admitted to the City Hall. Only NRK/TV will have cameras inside the City Hall and no video cameras on the Gallery The Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony in Oslo is exclusively filmed by NRK.
